hi ive been taking 40mg citalopram aka celexa for the past 7 months and i go out every weekend and binge drink, and it doesnt seem to affect me in any way, but im also going to be taking cocaine this weekend aswell is it ok to take cocaine with alcohol whilst on citalopram? if its not what if i dont drink and just take the cocaine will i have any problems? thansk

Is this how cocaine works in the brain?
Someone once told me the process of what cocaine does to your body and why it is addictive.So when a person consumes cocaine, it immediately goes to the brain. Apparently, the brain has some hormone possibly endorphins that it stores and it is continuously being produced but does have limited quantity. Whenever you get excited, orgasm, feel happiness, this hormone is released in proportionate quantities if you win the National Football Championship a lot will release whereas if you eat food that you enjoy a little will release . Apparently, cocaine will empty the entire supply of this hormone giving you a euphoria unlike any other. The trade off of course, would be that once all the hormone supply is drained, well, you crash because there is nothing to give you a sense of happiness anymore since your hormone supply regenerates at a slow rate. This is where addiction comes in. People will become addicted because they feel like the only way to be happy or feel good emotions is to use cocaine.Is this the way it works? I've googled cocaine and i haven't gotten an answer like this but I feel like this sounds very reasonable and believable. I do want to know the real answer though, so can someone give it to me?

I suspect my girlfriend may have been using Cocaine?
Ive been going out with my girlfriend for like 9 months, and about a month or two in the relationship I notcied she had a bit of a temper. I dismissed it and kept going, but about 2 3 months into it, I found out her relatives do cocaine, weed, and idk what else, and that she used to as well S. I asked her if she still did was gonna leave her on the spot if she did and she said she had given it up because now that I was there her life was a lot better, which I suppose was possible, but hard nonetheless.A couple of months after, we started fighting, quite a lot. She was paranoid, said I had done said things I have never even done, we were arguing over such stupid things and she blamed it on 'her period' even though her periods were A All over the place, and B the arguements were all month long, and a period doesnt last that long. Anyways after all this, the arguing and the mood swings and all the other crap, I still stayed, but a month ago it got so bad I had to go. It was arguing everyday, she was having the usual angry outbursts, and I found her in our room when i was tidying in the room next to it and came back to get something, with a bag of coke, which she claimed 'She must have put away before i came up maybe someone asked her to hold it for them while she was drunk' and I watched her bin it. So a month ago the arguements paranoia was getting so bad I just left, I snapped, told her exactly where to shove it, and left her, but I ended up coming back the next day because I had left ID Bank account details S Im tryna get the money to leave again now, next payday is at the end of september. The wierdest thing is, this WHOLE month, she hasnt argued with me once S tiny things yeah but like nowhere near as bad as it was? She promised she would change and she has, but the reason im asking this is because I read you get withdrawal symptoms so doesnt that mean she would be acting up again?Why do I think shes taking it? She goes out to peoples houses where they do it sometimes and will stay the evening late into the night, sometimes not texting back, and come back drunk off her ass. I have a feeling she stays out that late as I will be able to tell the physical symptoms if she did it in the house 5 mins before she came home.The moodswings They were too frequent and paranoid to be a 'Period'. I found her with a bag of it...She was having auditory hullucinations. She asked for it on a night out, she didn't have any as I was there, but she was drunk off her ass and asked for some.
